The “Best Biscuit” thread made me think of this.

Late one night at work, someone got the cravings for biscuits, but we had no milk and no baking soda. We hunt around the kitchen and find vanilla ice cream and a can of Sprite.
We melt the ice cream, use a couple splashes of Sprite, and Bam!!!, we had some very nice (but sweet) biscuits.
They went very well with coffee.

Last week, i added siracha and hoisin sauce to leftover chili while heating it up. Then, to cool it, I added a scoop of potato salad. It actually came out delicious.

Last week I was roasting fresh corn at my cousin's house and the only spice he had besides salt and pepper was nacho cheddar popcorn seasoning.
The corn was waaaay better than it should have been.

In college I had a can of commodity pork that I put boiling with some ramen noodles and random seasonings out of the cabinet. Damn fine meal.
