I’ve never had it. I was watching Triple D yesterday and he went to an Ethiopian restaurant. That shite looked good, and something different. It reminds a little bit like Jamaican food.
I like how nearly everything they eat, they use a flat bread to eat it with, no forks or spoons.

One of those things that is so cheap to order, and comes out better, that making my own isn't worth it.

Is there an Ethiopian restaurant in our area?

I've been to a couple in Atlanta. The food is good. The injera bread is kind of like gauze. You tear off a small piece and use it to pick up the food instead of a fork. It can be spicy.
I like the gomen, which is their version of collards. You can brown onions, garlic, and jalapenos, then add diced tomatoes (and maybe bacon or ham) and a can of Margaret Holmes seasoned collards and come up with something similar.
It's mainly spicier versions of the vegetables we all know, grilled meats, and injera bread.

Never had it until this fall in Nashville (Addissae Ethiopian). What we had was very good.
For years we would stay at a condo a block over from Bennachin in the quarter when we would go down for NOWFE. I always tried to convince my wife, SIL & BIL to give it a try, but I never could get them in the door.
