Mi Cocina if you like Mexican. Reata is usually solid and rooftop is great is weather is nice. Bird Cafe is very good with interesting beverage service.

Take the short trip to stockyards area for Chef Tim Love's Lonsome Dove Bistro. They know how to cook meat.

Forgot to mention the flying saucer downtown has a huge new covered patio with live music. It's a cool scene

Tim loves is great but bring your wallet and about $100 a person

Grace--they are doing fine work these days

Lonesome Dove (quick uber trip from downtown--worth it) Ask for Michael and head down to their wine cellar. Really unique and reasonably priced.

Bird Cafe has a cool little patio. Food is hit or miss.

Silver Leaf Cigar bar for a glass of booze and smoke.

Skip Mi Cocina and listen to the rock-solid advice above and go to El Asadero.

For a burger and laid back atmosphere, another quick uber to West 7th and go to Fred's or Rodeo Goat.

Magnolia Avenue, short uber, has funky little restaurants and bars. If you like craft beer, go over to Magnolia.

Enjoy Funky Town!

I Secound Lonesome Dove, carful driving Northalmost into Stockyards or you will drive past it,, a little spendy but great! They have Rahr beer on tap, elk sliders are awesome appetizer, their Mac and cheese is great as well, last time I had grilled Striper that was really good.
