Ruth's is the only answer....but if you really have to ask this question....just go to the Piccadilly and you will be just as happy...

Don’t know Roe’s and the only thing good at Ruth’s is their cheesecake.

Must be an Alabama problem. Ruth's in BR is top notch all the way. Metairie is great too. The one in Hilton Fort Worth was a little lacking relatively, but still good.

It should be illegal to mention Ruth’s Chris and Doe’s eat place in the same sentence. Ruth’s by a million

I have never had a bad experience there. We use it for entertaining customers a lot. They deliver great service and food every time.

I hate signing the check, but hell, it isn't my money.

We have business lunches with vendors there fairly often. I've probably eaten at Ruth's in BR a hundred times and have never had a bad meal or service.

Ruth's is better than Doe's but you pay for it. Me and SO can go to Doe's for a little over $100, we can't get out of Ruth's for less than $200.

No idea what he's talking about

I mean, I think it's common for guys to start out on Ruths and love it. It's a lot of folks' first experience with upscale steakhouses. Then you graduate to better, more esteemed prime steak houses and thus no longer really have a need or urge to spend money at RC.

But unless you don't like beef, or you just have some abnormally bad experience, I can't imagine ever turning my nose up at RC regardless of how much better my preferred prime steakhouses might be.

Do they still do the fixed/power lunch thing? Think I'm going to go for lunch on Thursday, but I didn't want to get there and it be the full $50 per steak deal as dinner.

Yeah they have a smaller menu for lunch and it's cheaper.

Have they turned in around? It went downhill for awhile but I haven't been in several years now.
