No they haven't, at least not for lunch. Got the lunch special steak/mash a few weeks ago, and I swear the steak was almost inedible rubber. The mash was lukewarm. The damn lobster bisque was too salty with no pieces of lobster in it. I won't go back.

Good to know. It sucks because that used to be a decent spot.

No I’ve been to several Ruth’s Chris around the country. They are okay, but if I am going to spend the money then I will spend it at Del Friscos or even Elways has better steaks.

Wasn’t trying to be offensive just truthful. I have had the pleasure of eating at many fine steakhouses and Ruth’s is okay

You pretty much said what I was thinking. I would never turn a RC meal down but I wouldn’t purposely go there with other premiere choices available.

I was a regular back in the day. It was actually a pretty cool bar. I'm surprised that it closed.

Why do you feel compelled to make such an asinine assertion to someone you’ll never meet on a message board?

With how often you bring up sullivans, there is a 100% chance we met.

I didn’t play golden tee at the time. Just sat 20 people to a table in the cocktail area by the bar or if it was just a few Co-workers, we sat at the bar. Stayed many a nights until 4 am helping “clean up”

That is a really odd steakhouse to single out since I envision there are a zillion steaks as good or better than Elway's.

Not odd at all. Elways steakhouse is pretty top notch. It is definitely a step or two above RC.

I wonder how it compares to Wahlburgers, Ditka's and Michael Jordan's.

Not that I put much credence into top XYZ lists, but Elway's is conspicuously absent in the best steakhouse lists. It evens falls below a ton of New Orleans and Houston steakhouses I wouldn't consider top notch.
