I'll vouch for Stanley's too.

Stanleys also has breakfast! If going Bodacious, take home some of their dry rub - wonderful stuff! There's another Q place locals swear by called The Country Tavern over near Kilgore. Nearly lost my heart and wallet to a dark headed lovely there... Ribs are their specialty. Besides Barbecue, there's great Mexican at Mercado's out on the loop, and at Don Juan downtown.

Jack Ryan’s in Kilgore and Tyler if looking for a bit more upscale. Second Bodacious but Longview and Gilmer location are better than Gladewater. Great little Mexican in the Gladewater Square by the tracks but I can’t remember the name. Lupe’s in Longview is good Tex Mex.

Kilgore Bodacious is a sentimental favorite. And I really enjoy the BBQ.
