Headed down to NOLA Saturday for the SEC gymnastics meet. From what my wife tells me there will be a 2 hour window that we can go to dinner during. Looking for recommendations near smoothie king arena that is relatively casual. TIA!

Borgne
Willa Jean
Balise
Company Burger
Seaworthy
Maypop is excellent, but not as casual. Still can wear jeans though.

In addition to Borgne, which has streetfront exposure, the Hyatt Regency has like 4 other restaurants and bistros in it that you can only get to from going in the hotel, past the check-in desk, and up further into the hotel. That hotel is REALLY big. They're not really great places to eat, but if you find yourself really pressed for time and that's as far as you can get in the time you have, there are more options than Borgne in that hotel if seafood isn't your thing.
By all means, though, if you have the time, there are many really good options that are only a few blocks further from the arena than the Hyatt.
Along with the others mentioned, Johnny Sanchez (tacos with flair) is right around the corner from the Hyatt.

If you're looking for easy in and out, Blaze Pizza is very close along with Magasin, which is casual Vietnamese. Juan's Flying Burrito is right around the corner from there.

Maypop for the win. The bone marrow & oyster appetizer is one of the best things I have ever eaten.

Copper Vine Wine Bar next to Walk On's. Noting spectacular about it but it is a fun place and we had some good, casual meals there when attending events at the Dome or the Arena. My favorite restaurant around there is Domenica but that is a few more blocks away.

Right on
Best oyster dish in the city imo. And that marrow is a great dish you wont get anywhere else
