I have lived here 11 years now and worked in Mandeville 10 of those years. For some reason unbeknownst to me, I have never eaten at Cafe Lynn. I have always heard great things about it, however.

Great little place. Like I said. The pork chop is really good

Megumi
Ghallaghers
Oxlot
Lola
Columbia Street seafood for poboys and boiled seafood

Abita roasting company in village walk is unsuspecting but does a great burger and is always good.

Chimes wont blow you away, but its consistent and has a great beer selection.

You must have gotten them on a good night. I used to love this place. Something happened in the past few years because it has gone downhill quite substantially

Best sushi on the Northshore is Kazoku off hwy 59 and it isn't even close

Italian - Sal and Judy's head and shoulders better than anything else in the area. Nuvolari's is a solid backup plan.

Mexican - Habaneros

Chinese - Trey Yuen is my personal favorite but it also has nostalgia for me since it was one of the few places still open from 25+ years ago.

I think this is so dependent upon what you order. Each of the good places have great dishes and average stuff. The original Megumi is still my favorite and I would put 5 top 5-8 favorite rolls up against any other place over here.

Each place has some great ones like that

Old rail is good for beer. Food is nothing special.
