Thanks. I always add onions, garlic, lemons, and sometimes celery and mushrooms.I've also used canned corn in a bag which I like better than on the cob though a little more inconvenient to eat.

These are staples for me. Artichokes are also good.

Try this thread: Master List and Ratings of Boiled Crawfish Sides - Besides Generic. My ratings (1 to 5) are in parenthesis.
Vegetables
Baby Bok Choy (4)
Broccoli (4)
Mushrooms (5)
Cauliflower (3)
Fresh green beans (3)
Artichokes (3)
Golden beets (5)
Sweet potatoes (3)(4)
Brussel Sprouts (halved) (3)(4)
Brussel Sprouts (whole) (5)
Canned corn with holes punched in can (?)
Carrots (?)
Edemame (?)
Nopales, i.e. cactus (4)
Garlic (4)
Fruit
Pineapple (3)
Oranges (?)
Meats (I know eggs aren't actually considered meat, but I'm putting them here)
Poached Eggs (5)
Boiled Eggs (4)
Whole small fryers tied in panty hose (?)
Homemade tamales in the husk...just drop them in the boil long enough to warm them up (?)
Hot dogs (?)
Pork Tenderloin (?)
Cheesy Brats (?)
Spices Ratde these on how Ithink they add to the overall flavor of everything else in the boil, though some of these are edible
Habaneros (Fresh) tops removed (5) About 0.65 lbs per batch
Serranos (Fresh) tops removed, cut in half (5) About 1.75 lbs per batch
Jalapenos (Fresh) tops removed, cut in half (5) About 2 lbs per batch
Alternatively, you can blend up some peppers with a little water, then add that do your boil. I do this with serranos and habaneros because those aren't going to be eaten for the most part.

I mentioned my boiling one of those already seasoned corn beefs from a packet that they sell in stores. I'll remove what liquid I need from the big pot and boil it on a stove or over the burner in an appropriate sized pot.
They come out so good.

You can do all crawfish boil sides on a stove. What is your point?
Posted on 4/15/19 at 3:42 pm to LSUvegasbombed
i mean, the question was about things to put in a crawfish boil. Not things you can cook on your stove.

I think he is meaning that multiple people in multiple threads all are wanting to do this but seem to be waiting for an actual outside boil
Instead of just doing it on the stove
