I did a search, but didn't see anythiing about it closing. I called today several times to find out their hours, but got a message everytime. I have heard a lot of good things about this place and hoping they're still around. Thanks

Still open.

They are, I think, going through a name change though.

They were closed friday at about 6:30...thought that was strange, but I don't know the hours of operation there.

My recon is showing all signs of closing. And I have $50 worth of coupons from the half price promo on the radio station. Guessing I am SOL on that....

The owner posts here but went to work in Iraq to make some money to open a new location. Wouldnt make sense to do all that and close down.

They are closed, per Jeremy, the manager.

ETA: No word on whether or not it is temporary or permanent.

Very little of their business came from the surrounding area, so I am told.

Huh? I heard nothing of this.

That would have been the WORST place to try to rob.

The owner and the manager are both vets....snipers at that I believe.

I don't think anyone else carried, but one of them was there most of the time.

I went with the manager one Saturday night when their alarm was going off, the hell with working in that location.

They did get robbed once and I think the owner caught one of them as they ran off.

Shame if they are closed for good. It was the best fried chicken in town bar none and those two guys were great and nice as can be. Hope it opens somewhere else soon.

It doesn't help that they weren't close to campus, and there is a Popeye's and Church's within stones throw of it.
