It hasn’t been open for several days. Would be a bummer.

Place seems to be in a perpetual state of closing its doors.

I heard they were shopping closing/ selling not sure if another liquor store will take their place or something else will fill the spot.

I was in there a couple of weeks ago and the shelves were pretty bare. I needed several things and actually walked out w/o buying anything b/c they didn't have anything I was looking for.

I used to love going there because they used to have things others didn’t. But honestly there are tons of places now that have extended inventory - plus we have a total wine, and I am sure that it has affected their business.

Albertsons had a lot of the same shite for the same price. And Martins has a better selection and better service. Sorry to see a business close, but not surprised with this one.

Total wine's bourbon selection is pathetic comparatively to the local places like Calandro's, Alexander's, etc...

Do you have an example of what Calandro’s and Alexander’s have that Total Wine doesn’t? Not arguing, just generally curious.

Theyre def getting out of the business, whether it just closes or it's sold. I haven't heard an update in a couple of weeks though as to which...

The dude that owned it was a dick and sooner or later that catches up with you and hits your bottom line. Especially when as others have mentioned you can go down the street for as good as or a better selection.

and better prices. BinQ is closest to my house but I'll drive to Martins to pay $5 less for a fifth of tequila.

The new Martin is awesome. I could spend hours in there.

Total Wine is nice for delivery orders, but it’s not convenient both in distance and Siegen Lane being hell on earth. I saw today Martin does free delivery if the order is over $100, so may not even need to do Total Wine delivery anymore.

Sold to a couple investors that are renovating and reopening later on. It will be more unique and interesting wine selection, along with some of the staples, more focused liquor and beer selection, and the guy that will be managing is one of the more knowledgeable people in the retail setting in BR. Take that how you will, just what I heard, and I’d say it was from a reliable source.

Was in there a few weeks ago and heard an employee say the same thing about new ownership. Felt like I was on a sitcom. People were walking in and walking out because they didn’t even have much beer on the shelves. I felt like I a had to buy something from the one poor employee. $6 for a mini no wonder they are closed.

About 5 years ago, I think they had one of the better selections of Irish Whiskey.

My dad was on a Pineau kick when they came back from France about 10 years ago. They were the only store that I could find the brand they drank in France.

Recently (a month ago) they were also the only store in town that had Bacoo 12 Year rum.
