Haven’t had theirs but the one from Jacques-Imo’s is delicious.

Looks overcooked to me - or at least for my tastes.

We did one a few years ago and it was alright but nowhere near as good as a prime rib cooked in the oven. The outside was leathery even though the inside was cooked med rare.

Not sure why, but I read the title as deep fried roast beef Poboy. There used to be a restaurant in Cocodrie that would hollow out pistolettes and fill it with crawfish etoufee put the cap back on and deep fry it. It was amazing.

Yes, fried pistolettes are delicious. Stuffed with crawfish or crab.

because "poboy" should always follow roast beef.

I do this when I fry turkeys, follow pretty much the same technique they show here (Inject, 350 degs, 3 min/lb). They only showed that one slice and the outer edges are delicious but the middle is super rare. I agree oven prime rib is better, but if you're already frying turkeys it's a fun add on.
