The one downtown. Did it already close?

Not closed, but literally one of the worst reviewed places on Yelp that I've ever seen.

I pass by there daily. Still open but only ever see school tour busses and trash going in there

They won't make it much longer.

I took a few kids there on a Saturday around 5:00 and it transitioned from decent to trash in a matter of a few hours.
That rent can't be cheap and they had four deputies there to pay.
On the elevator ride up some little gang banger looking woman was telling her friends that her buddy managed the place and would hook everyone up. It's a glorified chuckee cheese.

And yet at one point it was one of the most talked about places on this board, even the O-T.

I wouldn't be shocked. It's trash.

It should close if it hasn’t already.

It’s trashy AF and a total disaster.

What everyone else said in here, shell of its old self. Use to togo the one in Chicago and it was great.

Went to the one here and could no wait to get the hell out of there.

Back about 20 + years ago, the food at that time, appeared to have been made in house from scratch and was considerably better than the pre-portioned, pre-packaged heat up and serve food that is being presented today.

We avoid D&B today. It's gotten too much like Chuckie Cheese. Except the adults act worse than the kids.

Totally agree.

Also, back then , it seemed to me they were more cutting edge on the games, Now most of them are dated and too many coin based one for tickets, like CC.

We were looking for a place to grab a few beers before the New Orleans Bowl this past year and the four of us sat down, and not one person spoke or tried to serve us anything. There were three "workers" in the bar area, but would not look at us long enough to wave them over. We sat there for about 5 minutes as we each took a turn to take a leak, just in case someone would attempt to do their job, one of us would be there to order.

This was my first experience ever in a Dave & Busters. That was one of the reasons we went in, but I will never step foot in that one ever again.

Dave and Busters would be fine in Mandeville or Ruston

6 coworkers and I went there on a Wednesday night around 8 for drinks and apps. None of us had ever been there.

It was completely dead. Only one other group came in during this time.

The food was worse than Chili's.

It'll go down just like celebration station and jazz land.

Unwed mothers drop off packs of 13-17 year old unsupervised juveniles who hang out there for hours with no money to spend, no respect for anything, and a penchant for breaking shite.

Eventually it drives all other business away and the place closes. It's depressing really.

I think BR is getting a Main Event. I expect this will be the ultimate outcome as well

I could see this exact thing happening to Drive Shack if it ever gets built.
