Going out with a new girl tomorrow night and looking for a cool place to go hang out. Upper-Middle price range. I was told Pamplonas. Preesh guys.

Pampalona's is good, if you like sharing small plates.
Social is pretty popular, as is Ruffino's.

Pamplonas is a good first date place. Small plates, wine, slow pace. Can get out of there for about $100-130 for the two of you. Marcello's or Social would be my only other options to suggest. Rock-n-Sake is too loud to converse on a first date.
