Did a quick search and found this thread from last year, but seeing if there is anything that I should check out.

On the list so far:
Meddlesome Moth
Pecan Lodge
Some tacos on Singleton Ave
The Grape

Need a breakfast place near DFW.

Revolver tacos in deep Ellum.
Rapsacllion or their sister restaurant Boulevardier for a nice but casual meal.
Old school diner breakfast at Gold Rush Cafe or John's Cafe.

Texas Ale Project has a nice space but their beer is only slightly above average. Deep Ellum has a nice tap room but again, the beer is just ok. That sums up most Dallas breweries. Like Tduecen said, Braindead is a good spot with pretty good beer and food and a nice outdoor space in Deep Ellum. Its right across the street from Pecan Lodge.

When are you going to be here?

Agreed. Community is just terrible. Peticolas is actually not that bad. It as about as good as you are going to get in the DFW area for breweries unfortunately.

Peticolas is pretty bland. Martin House and Community are about the best although Turning Point in Bedford near the airport is getting a lot of hype for their Neipas but I haven't tried them yet. New brewery named Celestial is in the works and has promise. The guy starting it was the brewer at Malai Kitchen and was putting out great Neipas. LINK

Their Mosaic IPA is very good and their BA Legion Stout is great. Regular legion is very good too.

Working? Deep Ellum will have the most bang for your time. Lunch at Pecan lodge... There will be a line though. Revolver taco if you don't want to wait in line the walk to Braindead, Dots Hop House, Three Links or Deep Ellum brewery for beers.

I have been to Turning Point the last 3 Fridays...it is really good..plus it is only 2 miles from the house.
In order of what I have liked it is Fleeb Juice, Grumbo, Baby Legs, Extra Pulp, Double Pulp, and $Texas (pronounced Texas with a dollar sign. The bad thing is they told me Fleeb juice is not on the brewing schedule for 2 months but everything I have tried is good

...looking forward to Celestial opening in Dallas

If you are wanting to stay in Dallas, try Small Brewpub in Oak Cliff
