That just reminded me of meridiandog. I could envision the cameras panning around him and Flay asking what his signature dish is..."TATER TOTS!"

I could maybe beat him with some creamed potatoes

But obviously he'd destroy me in every other dish, even ones that I think I'm pretty good with

But as others have said the show is a bit of a setup

Jay Ducote deserves absolutely zero credit for beating Bobby Flay in a crawfish boil.

I'm thinking there's some dishes I cook that would give him a run for his money, but you know the cards are stacked since it is his show.

Considering overall cooking skills, no way since the guy does this for a living.

I cringe every time she says spah-GHETT-eee though.

Oh it's terrible.

She talks completely normal until she gets to that one fricking word.

I looked this up out of curiosity and omg

Pretty sure I could give him run with my
boules de garfish (Garfish Balls). I'm not bragging, but everyone I've ever cooked them for say they're the best. Old people and people who have never ate gar balls liked them! Maybe even my Gumbo.....

I could take him in a gumbo competition

But I would need 3-4 hours

I don't know if this is unusual, but I find myself rooting for Bobby to win most of the time. Seems like everyone else on the set is against him.

If I were to challenge him, I think I'd go with a super simple dish rather than a difficult one. Make him and I cook something that's hard to frick up and see what the judges like more. "Today we're cooking scrambled eggs"
