Here was my Fresh Market fajitas. They were actually pretty good. The fajita sauce had a nice kick to it and the quac was spicy, too.

The meat was sirloin steak strips.

It fed a family of 4, and took 10 minutes to cook. The meat and veggies were already chopped. The salsa and sour cream were not provided, but we already had some in the fridge. Overall, pretty good.

I will probably cook a pot of white beans today. I'll have to root around in the freezer to see if we have any ham hocks, but regardless, I have some Rabideaux's sausage I'll be using for sure.

Made enchiladas, red rice, and refried beans last night. Ate until I couldn't move.

They used to only offer the Little Big Meal on Thursdays, and I was there every week for it. They changed to doing it all week, and I haven’t gone since

Stupid on my part. It’s a hell of a deal.

Been pulling stuff out the freezer that I have cooked earlier in bulk. Meatballs/Italian sausage and red gravy, red beans with sausage and ham, chicken stew, 3 different homemade soups, seafood and chicken/sausage gumbo, crawfish bisque, filling for making chicken pot pies, crawfish pies, frozen vegetables from my garden, meat in the form of chicken, beef, pork and venison----just to name some of what I have on hand.

I try to knock back stuff from the freezer this time of year anyway just in case we do get a storm during hurricane season. I'd rather eat it now than throw it away later.

Managed to make the thick chocolate chip cookie recipe from Serious Eats (a copycat from Levain bakery in NYC), but haven’t managed much else. Roasted broccoli and parsnips and chicken/apple sausages for supper. Big plans for bison meatballs and a pork sirloin roast....tomorrow. Yeah, tomorrow.
