Similar to what Saffron uses for their oysters

My wife is big into ceramics and is going to try and replicate a similar tray to give out as Xmas gifts

How quick does that pan cool down after taking it off the grill?

I'd prefer aluminum over cast iron so I can use it as a serving dish also, but want one that can handle high temps like that one says it can.

They work great!!! I have several dozen.
Locally made(in Covington)and the owners are great people!!!!!

Cleanup..... I toss them into a bucket of soapy water and wash off next day.

I didn’t check but I think it keeps its heat for a bit. They have some trivets that I got to put them on just in case.

I only used it once. Clean up was easy and was back to new. Need to work on the recipe.

If you're not hell bent on making your own recipe, Drago's will sell you a container of their "mix"

Not opposed. The oyster bed comes with a book of a few. I just haven’t done them on the grill a whole bunch before anyway. Hated messing with those little metal ones. Fried are just so good and easy that’s what I end up doing lol.

I've almost ordered that like 12 times. Please update and let me know how it works out for you.

I have one. Works great but a chore to clean even after spraying with Pam. Worth the work to me.

I've never tasted metal in the SOS shells which are in the original post.

I forgot to spray with Pam on the first time I used the oyster bead so only sprayed 1/2 after some were on already and it still all came clean pretty easy.

I use these. Use them multiple times. Usually get them at Wilson Oysters in Houma. Like 5$ for 12. Just found on amazon 250 for $20.
