Get some parchment paper, and two ply bake ware. Half sheet pans do the heavy lifting in my ovens.

Check out USA Pan. They make excellent baking pans. Amazon has them.

don’t get non stick it’s a waste of money.
go to a restaurant supply store, the standard oven size is called a half sheet pan. The smaller ones (half that size) are called quarter sheet pans.

they are cheap, will cook evenly and last forever.
while you are there get a couple silicone baking mats and you’ll never have a stuck cookie

Agree that commercial quality aluminum half and quarter sheet pans are the way to go. If your oven is large enough, you can get 3/4 sheet pans, too. While you’re buying the commercial pans, get the lids as well. Sometimes called “bun pan lids”, they’re about 3” high, super useful, and stackable once clipped onto the pan. Parchment is superior to a silicone mat for most applications.

My wife bought my Mom some Nordic Ware Gold cookie sheets a couple of years ago. Mom loves them. Made in the USA

Half sheet aluminum pans from Sam's. Cheap and work great. Also Restaurant Supply and probably Costco, too. We have them, in several versions from shiny new, to dark/discolored old, and sizes 1/2 and whole size. Never considered a lid but that sounds interesting.

Only for some things....they’re absolutely terrible for others. I prefer parchment for most things. Here’s a Serious Eats piece on why Silpats are no good for most cookies: LINK

Nordicware aluminum rimmed pans with Amazon brand silpats is the best and most affordable option, IMO

Amazon sells their own brand of Silpat-esque mats and they're just as good as the more expensive name-brand.
