hate that they are putting a wal-mart there. Would welcome an academy or walk-ons , or some other stand alone place.. just not ANOTHER strip mall.

Ascension isn't the parish it once was. Also, 73 from I-10 to 74 could sure use some better restaurants and other economic development.

I dont see this happening for couple reasons. One being available parking on phase 2 unless the city let them piggyback off the grocery store side assuming they had extra capacity. The other is that Walkons would want to be a standalone building. Strip mall store does not fit the demo with the brand they have built. Why compromise this to add a location in Prairieville.

it does seem like they had a change of plans at some point. the driving lane closest to the store has an opening leading into what was going to be phase 2. But, now that leads into the wall of the new building.

Ascension needs to rebuild Burnside... Also surprised that open land on Hwy 30/Corner of Burnside hasn't been built up more.
