Have no idea whether it's closing, but I think Cochon Butcher might work better in Lafayette or even adding the Butcher menu to Cochon might help.

it's very poorly run. from what i hear, this seems to be a trademark of Link owned restaurants.

St. Street Inn is another one. Sucks about Cochon, but like has been mentioned, service was horrible every time I went. I did like the food, though.

You obviously haven't eaten in one Donald Link restaurant.

That's a shame. I had good service, but ours was one of the very few tables with diners. This was at 7-8:30 PM on a Wednesday, so I don't know if much can be judged from that.

I agree. I think it would be a lot more palatable to the Lafayette dining crowd.

That's sad that a place like Cheddars will do better than Cochon!

Have not been to the one in Laf., but Cochon and Butcher in NO are not poorly run by any stretch of the imagination.

Bella Figura is a joke. Freaking LPK menu and Sysco bullshite. The owner was one of the original principals in LPK and took the menu, raised the prices, and BAM Italian Food.

I hope this is not true. I love the place, but I do wish it was in Baton Rouge. I would eat there several times a month.

You're an idiot. You can actually see them rolling out hand made dough, making sauces, and using home made salad dressings.

They have a frickin open kicthen. Like the food or not, no reason to write erroneous comments about them.

Oh I definitely have. I've eaten at Herbsaint, Cochon, and Cochon Butcher. I also know two former employees. I'm not saying bad service or anything customer related. I'm talking poorly run and managed from a business stand point.
