Vodka snobbery is hilarious to me. It’s meant to be flavorless and odorless. Tito’s does that job plenty well enough to stay away from stuff like grey goose. People buy it for the name.

That’s a blended malt scotch. Different beast entirely than blended scotch. It’s a blend of different single malts meaning it’s a mash of malted barley. Blended scotch will include grain whiskey such as corn.

Chivas is my dad’s drink of choice. He said it he drank it when he was younger and never changed. He’ll order a scotch and water and take a regular bar single malt if that’s offered by the bartender. But if the bartender asks an open ended “what type of scotch?”, Chavis is the answer.
