What ever happened to this? I remember right before covid they announced it then we have not heard anything since. Did they ever follow up?

No rooftop, but lots of deck areas. They are making a lot of effort to preserve and work around the oaks. It is going to be fine.

Yea the oaks there are beautiful. I was concerned they’d be cut. That’s good they’re gonna incorporate them into the design. I bet that property was not cheap.

That isn't the final plan. They are still tweaking it. It is going to be fine. You will start seeing dirt work soon.

Dat stretch of Camellia from Kaliste Saloom to Verot School Rd is the hottest real estate corridor in the state...Chimes, Orthopedic Hospital, Bank and a new Rouses....valuable real estate for sure... hope they get the drainage right in that area....

That's honestly one thing Lafayette could still use that would make me happy.
A place with a very large and quality craft (especially local) beer selection AND very good but simple food.
Being able to sit down with a large local craft selection and enjoy a cup of seafood gumbo with some fried catfish and/or a dozen raw sounds lovely.
