Chicken wings in a crawfish boil?

I saw some fans on tv boiling some turkey legs and wings in a crawfish boil pot with the strainer in it.
The water in it was pretty orange, I'm guessing with cayenne and stuff in it.
I'm curious to try this with chicken wings.
Does anyone have a recipe for this? Thanks in advance!

It looked like turkey legs and wings but I was going to try with chicken wings. Maybe boil them in whatever that was and then finish on the grill, make them a little crispy on the outside but tender inside.

You can boil whole chickens in panty hose. Do the same with wings.

No matter how many times I read this all I can picture is a chicken wearing panty hose

Stuff boiled in spicy water is a soul food standard: like turkey necks, smoked sausage, turkey legs, potatoes, etc. I often see this stuff at charity fish fries at tiny independent black baptist churches around here.
If you're gonna do chicken wings, don't boil too long, or you're just gonna have shreds of meat and bones. Turkey wings definitely hold up better.

How long to boil chcken wings? About the same time as crawfish? Of course I'll let them soak just as long. Will try this next spring.

I imagine you would want to grill them after.
