Maybe in your neck of the woods. I've been eating CFA since I was an actual fetus. It's been a zoo for as long as I can remember.

Point taken, though I've been eating that sandwich for years and have never had one undercooked. The only bad one I've had was once when they put way too much mayo on it.

I grew up when CFA was pretty much only in the food courts of malls. It was popular, but not the zoo most of them are today. Tuscaloosa opened a drive-thru only location when I was at Bama, and even then it wasn't super busy. This was early 90's. It has exploded in popularity since then, mainly as they've opened full dining room locations. That started in the mid 90's from what I remember. I do disagree with labeling it trendy. It's always been popular.

Same here. It was a big deal when my hometown got a free standing unit. It was at the entrance to our Sam's Club, on a very busy strip. Place was always swamped, since it was the only one in town not at the mall. They've since added only one more, but it isn't some sprawling metropolis where I grew up. There are at least a dozen where I live now, and more if you start going down the interstate a bit.

Again, it depends on location. They've had dine-in locations in Georgia since in the 70s.

I remember when they built that drive-thru one in Tuscaloosa(which is still there, btw), a lot of people didn't think it'd be successful. They built it right across the street from the mall where the only other CFA in town was at the time, and I guess they thought it was too close to the other location or something.

Damn I'm old. That was nearly 30 years ago.

We grew up on Dwarf House

It was literally the central gathering spot in our town

Is that the one with the conveyor belt system? Or was that another restaurant I'm thinking of? I've never lived in T-Town but both my sisters and some cousins went to UA so I visited and helped them move a ton.

Yep, that's it.

And I guess I never realized GA had dine-in locations for years. I knew of Dwarf House, but not the regular CFA's. I can't even remember when I first went to a dine-in location.

It doesn't take me nearly as long to get through the drive thru at Wendy's, heck me and the two other people eating there will probably get through in the time it will take me to get through the 20 people in front of me at CFA.

Who tf waits in line? Order on the app, park and they bring it out to you

I need to try that. I have done mobile ordering where you go in, and I waited inside for like 15 minutes. They said it was because they don't start the order until you arrive (and I get the grilled nuggets).

I have multiple times done mobile ordering where you just go through the drive-thru and say your name, and twice now we had stuff missing when we got home

I think I just have bad luck.

Honey. To be more specific, a nice mild hot pepper infused honey.

Neither.

CFA chicken biscuit gets bacon, egg and Colby. Perfection.
