I've heard that Cheesecake Factory is several steps above Cheese Cake Bistro, but that isn't saying much.
I have no doubt this place will do well and be slammed every weekend. Maybe it will put the Red Lobster out of business.

I don't find the Cheesecake Factory to be great, but neither is it bad.
The menu is huge so some dishes are going to be better than others.

Grabbed some oysters at Don's the other day...old drunk yat lady is going on and on about Cheesecake Bistro moving in at the mall and wondering if the other one will close and she doesn't like, blah blah blah. I was close to correcting her but I just let it go.

they have them all over Atlanta at every mall. The place is terrible. 10 page menu. Everything is bland besides the cheesecake. Too many menu options, therefore quality suffers.

Cheesecake Bistro has gone from a very good restaurant to a shitty one. The service is horrible now and the menu and quality has changed too much. The one thing they do better than the Cheesecake Factory is the actual cheesecake.
While the menu is huge at Cheesecake Factory I've never had a bad meal there. I go a lot in Houston for work and we order tons of stuff for the table to try and I've always enjoyed it. But it's a chain so the cool kids may not like it.

I've only eaten at Cheesecake Factory once in Birmingham and I forget what I had but it was pretty bad. Everyone else's meals were good though.

we used to laugh when they were unloading the truck at cheesecake bistro on bluebonnet. rolling dolly after dolly of frozen cheesecake. not saying its not good, but they sure as hell didnt make it there

I prefer Copeland's Cheesecake Bistro to the cheesecake Factory.
the food is about the same but i like copeland's actual cheesecake better.
fun fact. Cheesecake factory has some of the worst restaurant food one can eat on their menu.

That menu is entirely too big. There is no way the quality doesn't struggle due to the vastness of the menu. CF's menu should be condensed to their best dishes and just improve on them...as far as Copeland's, I don't understand the hate. My only complaint is that it is damn near impossible to eat a dish there that isn't smothered in a really rich sauce topped with cheese. They just need a few healthy options if you're not in the mood for that

Why did it make you laugh? I don't think they try to make people think they make it there. It's all pre-packaged in the front already so it's obvious it was made elsewhere in bulk.
Cheesecake Factory doesn't have a bananas foster cheesecake which is why I like Bistro's more. However the Oreo cheesecake is pretty amazing.
And I've never had bad service at a Factory. They make Bistro waiters looks like Jamaicans.

Cheesecake Factory isn't that bad for a chain. Everything I've ever ordered there tasted decent. But the menu is ridiculous. It's a book with ads it's so big(like full page ads for jewelers and whatnot).
But yeah....you go for the cheesecake. Order an app and a salad and save room for cheesecake.
Their meal portions are huge btw. Their lunch menu is pretty decent as well.
It's a great place to go if you everyone going likes different stuff because they can all find something they like on the menu.
