Gotcha, I didn't feel the need to read past the Op because I knew it would be eerily similar to a certain thread about crockpots and Pulled Pork.

Not really. There is a reason it is always fried or covered in some sauce. You don't see that with quality fish, at least by those that enjoy the actual fish.

Not sure what's worse the haters or the defenders. Or the defenders thinking they're doing some justice when in actuality they're just as bad. Lulz

What is this high school? Some people just come to this site to discuss things without taking sides. Grow up

OK. How often do you see grilled catfish with a little salt and pepper?

The younger generation doesn't grasp this concept. They have something to say about everything and must be heard.

By the way this speaks to your maturity. Lets generalize an entire generation. I'm not your spoiled little kids man.

Yup you're really standing alone here. I know the older generation is not the brightest, but come on man.

About as often as I cook catfish at my house. I'll either grill it on some foil or cook it in a skillet with a little butter and lemon. It's great.

Plenty of quality fish that are served with a sauce or fried. But I'm with you, not a fan of the turd hustlers, regardless of the preparation method.

I am not talking about what you do at your house. You could cover catfish in barbeque sauce and put it in the crock pot at home, doesn't make it right or good.

You are correct, but they don't need to be either. You often see Tuna with a sauce, but it can stand alone. Catfish, not so much

It stands alone fried just fine.

Are we only talking about everything but frying?

Well frying masks the flavor of just about anything, so that is not what I am referring to. That is why you always see it fried.
