Casual weekend lunch spot in New Orleans

Hoping to take my wife and 2 year old to story land, then the children’s museum this weekend.
Ate parkway last time. Was planning on blue oak this time, but they’re closed.
Any casual (preferably delicious) lunch spots you guys could recommend for me (and a 2 year old)?
Appreciate it.

They cannot fund the operation with the sparse Covid crowds. City Park as a whole is in a bad spot right now with funding

Katie's at 3701 Iberville in Mid-City. Opens Saturday at 11 a.m. until 10 p.m. and Sunday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

That’s a shame. We love it over there.

Not permanently. But they are closed for now.

Isn't Storyland closed for Covid?

It was originally I think, but it wasn’t when we went 1-2 months ago.

Limited admission to Storyland. Get your tickets on the website
Acorn is still open in the LCM. It’s the little cafe run by the Dickie Brennan’s outfit. Could be a lunch option. If anything, Pops Brothers is set up outside with a cart selling popsicles. Kids would like it

We stopped by Acorn briefly last time when we saw the museum was closed. Enjoyed it. Such a pretty area over there.
What’s the order at Bevi?

Bevi is solid all around. Whatever looks good imo

Anything at Bevi is good.
My go to is the Smokey Oyster. A poboy with fried oysters, smoked Gouda, and pastrami bacon.

Went to Katie’s. My wife (picky) preferred their menu.
Crab cakes and the St. Louie.
Great meal. Great day.
Love the neighborhood restaurant thing. Katie’s is legit in the middle of a bunch of residences. New Orleans is the best. Does that exist in Baton Rouge?
