Luke has its oyster happy hour from 3-6, last time I went I think it was $9 per dozen. Very high quality oysters.

I like Mother's for poorboys also. It's not too far of a walk.

You're a ten minute walk to all of the offerings of the French Quarter.

Non-natives will tell you to try Maypop, Willie Jean, and Johnny Sanchez. I don't like any of these three.

The Ferdi Special is one of the TulaneLSU Top 10 poorboys in the world. Often derided but never surpassed.

There are so many places togo .. I was forced togo into Mother's about year ago and their RB was tough to chew and their gravy was almost clear, I suffer enough, don’t make me suffer on an average poboy.

Your trolling amusing until you venture into suggestions to people. Then you’ve gone too far.

All (outside of Luke for oysters ONLY) terrible advice as always.

There should be an auto-reply listing all of the restaurants in the Warehouse CBD for the daily threads of people asking the same question 10 different ways.

Mothers restaurant is a total tourist trap. I had their
signature "Ferdi Special". It was premade, cold and tasteless...a horrible sandwich. I ate three bites and left. Will never return.

I know it wasnt suggested but we ended up at Mr. B’s bistro. It was on my list of places to try if I ever got the chance but I wasnt sure I could get the rest of my party to go there. I had the bbq shrimp. It was fantastic.
