My friend doesn't seem to think that a box combo at Canes used to have 5 chicken fingers and that a caniac had 7 fingers. I tried to look up their old menu on the internet, but I could not find it. Does anyone have any sort of proof that this was the case? I know this has been discussed before but I can't find any actual evidence.

Box was five, Caniac was seven until they expanded.

Snack has always been three.

Pretty sure the original location did. Fries hanging out the box, all for around 3 bucks

was $4.15 when they first came out, Combo was $5.15.

Bailey's had the combo for $4.25 When the College drive location opened prices went up by a dollar.

When the Government location opened they started the smaller combos. When they franchised they raised the prices again.

Caniac used to be 7 fingers no doubt. There was this fat broad I worked with that ordered a caniac with an extra toast. Nauseating.

I loathe the day that a canes box will be over $10. What a shame.

Yea he's kind of a chicken tender novice. Not his fault, but I knew they used to have a 5 and 7 tender meal.

Yep I remember all the decline milestones. When the fingers got smaller, the sauce cups got smaller, the prices got higher.

I used to go to the drivethru one on the corner of airline and pecue, and they had the price set so that it came to and even $6 with tax.

I used to be a Cane's regular until the prices went up and the size of the fingers went down

Can confirm that it was 5 and 7

Also hate the fact that they hardly give you any Cane's Sauce at all and its $.25 per extra "cup" of sauce

Too expensive to go there nowadays, especially when Chicken Express undercuts them on prices

I will never understand this. Canes is still a good deal relative to their competition. McDonald's had those crappy chicken selects, and their combo cost within a dollar of Box combo, but you didn't get toast or slaw (who am I kidding, we all know this gets switched for more toast) and the chicken strips were terrible.

A 4 piece strip combo at Chick Fil A cost $7.19, and again no two pieces of toast and again not as good of a tender IMO.

I don't mind their raising prices, but my consumption dropped dramatically when the fingers got smaller. Completely screwed up the chicken to batter ratio.

Without a doubt it was 5 and 7. Also i lived in Plantation Trash and Bailey's was the shite. Always gave you extra tenders and fries and sauce for free.

Box Combo, no slaw, extra toast, and two extra sauces was clutch back in the day.
