That location was supposed to be the Cane's corporate headquarters (where the car wash is now) - - until they put the headquarters in Dallas.

But it's all good, they pay O to be on billboards. BR Proud.

Maybe so, but the Cane's on Drusilla is a old Fast Track and it is still open.
the building on Airline and Pecue had zero indoor dining space. Was a double drive thru on both sides, maybe 2 small tables under 2 umbrellas.

Canes was in the building that now houses Lamar. Then moved downtown before moving to Dallas.

There is some sort of thing where any employee can get a free meal 30 minutes after their shift or something. Some of the corporate employees were known to walk to that location and take advantage.

The location on Government was a Fast Track or Rally's.

Are they still in Dallas? I often wonder why they didn’t pick Houston or Austin instead of Dallas.

DFW Metroplex has a large number of corporate HQs for chain/national restaurants.

Oddly enough they just announced they are opening one where I live up in South Bend. I'm going to be in heaven.

Chicken is ok, it's the sauce that makes it special. You'll get tired of it soon. I'm down to where I eat Canes maybe 2 or 3 times a year.

You are so dumb. Cane's has an entire floor at City Plaza downtown. They held their entire manager's conference with almost 1000 people visiting the BR area for 3 days last year.

Three whole days! A floor full of cubes and $35,00 clerks! Enough to keep CPRT happy, I guess.

Cane’s wanted the landlord to reduce the price. The landlord didn’t. Simple as that. Cane’s will find a new spot close by that’s cheaper, I’m sure.

They will probably find a spot closer to the right end of Corporate, build it out in 3-4 months and continue counting the cash.

Considering they are in the fried chicken business I’d argue they are or were on the right end of Corporate.

I laughed but I envy them getting away from the area. I'd love to see us do it

I have a friend I duck hunt with that is 6’7” and 340lbs. We came back into town one morning after a spillway hunt and stopped in that Hooters a couple years ago. He ordered 2 50 pc wings and a pitcher of beer, looked at me and asked what I wanted.

That beast ate 100 wings and 2 pitchers of beer before noon. I’m still in awe of that.

But yeah, I can see why you would like to ease down towards Jefferson. Not sure why Hartley-Vey haven’t done more with that complex.

I could do the two pitchers of beer no prob. The 100 wings would take me a few days

Dallas is where the personnel is located to help manage adding franchises and new locations.
The talent resource was not in Louisiana to do that.
It's sad the lack of opportunities in LA for graduates from this state.
