As a couple people have said, Jura. I found a Jura Micro 9 at a thrift store a couple years ago. I didn't know what it was but I googled "Jura" and 1500$ espresso makers popped up. I paid 14$ for it.
I had to put 80$ into parts and what not but it's served me well for the past 3 years.

Thank you so much!
I love the food board and community here. I really miss the food culture of Louisiana, and this is one of the few ways I can stay connected. I worked at a few of the big fine dining spots for years in Baton Rouge before moving, and I think it'll always have a special place in my heart.
Let me throw some of my favorite espresso gadgets out there, each of these will produce a real shot:
The 9Barista: LINK
The Flair: LINK
The ROK: LINK
The Nomad: LINK
Take care!

My wife found one in a closet at her office several months ago. She asked around and nobody knew anything about it, so she asked if she could have it.
I still don’t know all it does, but it makes great coffee.

I’m liking the 9Barista for simplicity if it produces more than a half decent shot at home!
