I just don't see it as the great deal the McDonald's thinks it is. You've paid the cost of a full meal ($5), yet only receive 2 entrees. No drink. No fries. Guess I'll just eat my Big Mac dry and swallow some spit.

Meanwhile you can go to Wendy's for the 4 for $4 and get a full meal. Or the GOAT rally's and get a 4 for $3. I just don't get it.

I think Wendys deal is $5 but you get a Jr Bacon Cheeseburger instead of a hamburger.

Isn't it redundant to say you are eating spit when you order a Big Mac?

Order a 1/4 pounder, 10 mcnuggets, and 2 med fries it's about $12

Order the McPick 2 and 2 med fries it's about $10

Same exact order but $2 cheaper

I'd rather do 2 Whoppers for $6, but that would be a lot to eat in one sitting.

20yrs ago, Whoppers would be on sale for $1/each.

Maybe if you get two sandwiches to go, don't want fries and have drinks at home... it works.

My kids school had a "spirit night" there last night and the school gets a cut of the sales, so we went. Wife and I each had a big mac value meal. Kids each had a "mighty kid" meal (i.e. a happy meal for bigger kids... 6 nuggets instead of 4 and double cheeseburger instead of cheeseburger).

$25. I was stunned

well compared to their own prices it "is" a deal since each individual sandwich is right about $4 each so you get 2 for $5 and you save $3 on the regular price of buying both.

nothing is really much of a deal at any of those fast food places fast or inexpensive are terms that no longer apply at fast food places

Works out pretty well when I cruise through and just pick up some sandwiches to take home. I have drinks at home or sometimes I splurge and get a large soda for $1.

McDonald's has pretty much the worst fast food promotions, but I guess it's because they don't have to fight to get people in the doors

The pick 2 for $5 has the quarter pounder and 10 piece nuggets. You'll get way more full off the two items from McDonalds than you will off a junior bacon cheeseburger or the small chicken sandwich that you get at Wendys. Plus you can add any size drink and a small fries for $2 more, but that's a large meal for just one person.

I feel fat after typing this post.
