I’m looking for the pink paper to wrap large cuts of meat during smoking. Not parchment or wax paper.

I’ve checked Alexander’s, Rouse’s and Hi-Nabor. Anybody know who sells this stuff locally?

Got mine from Amazon. Might try a local butcher shop to sell/give you some to do a smoke.

I'd bet restaurant depot has it. Or try Ducote's.

I bet you could also go to a butcher and he'd give you a few feet no charge.

Same. Got a roll from Amazon, but if you need some this weekend go to a butcher shop. I remember a guy recently said I think Albertsons butcher department gave him a few feet.

That's what I was hoping. I went to Alexander's on Highland this morning and picked up a couple of briskets, asked the butcher if I could get some paper and he looked at me like I had 2 heads.

ETA: No luck at Ducote's and Restaurant Depot requires a membership. I realize I can buy on Amazon, but I need it this weekend. I'm going to check at Acquistipace in Covington this evening, hopefully someone in the meat dept is in a good mood and can tear me off a few feet.

Be careful of "butcher paper" you get from a store meat department. I tried twice and both times I was given wax coated paper. That's not what you want.

I’ve found it at Walmart before OP. May be worth a look.

Academy

Looks like they have in stock at Academy on Siegen. It looks to only be 12" wide though. You get 100 feet. But you can just overlap.

Goodwood Hardware sells the pink paper for smoking. I believe you have to ask them for it because the last two times I have gotten it from there it came from the back.
IIRC it is a 2'x10' roll.

One million times this. Buy your meat from the butcher, tell him what you are doing and ask him for the paper you'll need. He'll be more than happy to throw in some paper with the pounds and pounds of meat you're buying.

Then, you've made a friend with a butcher and can get any meat you want custom cut with a little notice on the front end. Way better than buying whatever the chain grocery store's butcher in Texas wrapped in plastic two days ago and shipped to the store.

Picked up a roll at Academy. 12” wide x 100’. It was closer than Goodwood Hardware and it will do in a pinch.

Will order a roll from Amazon for future use

I've seen it at the Restaurant Depot here is Bham. If you have one in BR, I bet they would have it.
