Return of the GOAT.

Hopefully my taste buds have not changed and/or it's still the same flavor.

Burger Tyme is opening a regular location at the old Wendy's on Johnston Street.

So the guys that killed it when they went cheap are going to open it again ? Are they going to use Boulet's old recipes and ingredients ? If not it won't be the old Burger Tyme.

The Bon Temps Poulet salad with honey mustard dressing was also good! I hope it’s on the new menu.

A Cajun Blaze was the first thing I ate when I moved to BR in August 89.

Is this related to our poster, Got Blaze? I think Cajun Blaze was the name of his seasonings. They were very good.

That would be interesting if Got Blaze is connected to Burger Tyme.

No, his seasonings were branded Ragin' Blaze.

I ate way more of those than I should have back in the day.

Spicy signature burger of Burger Tyme, a local burger chain. Went out of business several years ago but are now attempting a comeback.

No sista I’m not affiliated with Burger Tyne and Cajun Blaze. That would be Braxton Moody V, whose late father and grandfather owned many restaurants including Burger King and Luther’s BBQ. Moody Hall on the ULL campus is named after Braxton III.

And a newspaper or two, but I digress...

I ate a Cajun Blaze or two back in the day. Literally not many because I was at LSU, but remember them being good. Will try them again.

Interested to see now they want to re-birth this brand, given the vast changes and entries into the hamburger market.
