Thanks for all the suggestions, didn’t realize they had so many other good choices. Will have to try several other items. I agree; they weren’t the fastest but knowing it’s all fresh makes the small wait much more tolerable.

I forget this place exists. I'll have to try it.

Couple years back, some black Karen was raising Hell or something about she wants extra pickles on her hamburger. Apparently there is a function on the register to add a note for a special order. It goes on the grill receipt, not the receipt the customer gets. The cashier, a black teen age kid, puts “extra pickles, n-word” (May have ended in A not R).
Somehow, the grill receipt got put in the lady’s bag. She sees it, calls the news, the news is all over it, “Racist restaurant in BR!!!”, etc.
The news is about to start a small riot, gonna burn the restaurant down until they realized the cashier was a black kid and the restaurant is black owned.
I think the restaurant was doing ok before this happened. I understand their business boomed after this.
Edit:
I found the story, my details are a little off above

I’m laughing at the last line of the story. The lady got a lawyer. For what, a black kid calling a white kid the N-word?

I never liked anything enough to wait 10 minutes in a drive thru but the food isn’t bad
Honestly, I'm surprised it is still open. Like you said, the food isn't bad. In fact, they could probably do even better if they changed their marketing/concept. Every outward appearance suggests they are a fast food restaurant. Hell, they even have a drive through. Yet, they go to great lengths (at least according to the signage in the drive thru) that they are NOT a fast food restaurant. They even serve beer.
If you are not a fast food restaurant, then why give the consumers EVERY impression that you are? They essentially tell customers "don't get mad that you have to wait 10-15 minutes in the drive thru because we aren't fast food". The response from the customer is essentially "then why the frick do you look like a fast food restaurant?"

it used to be an arby's (a fast food restaurant) which is why it...looks like a fast food restaurant. not every place in BR needs to be heatlamp slop trough
they do just fine. the owner is a very nice guy who will bend over backwards to keep customer service at a high level. the food is better and the service is better than any fats food place.. why cant that be enough to go there?

The poster I responded to said it's good, but not good enough to wait 10 minutes in a drive thru for. That's because it is perceived by the public as a fast food restaurant with fast food expectations in terms of efficiency. He's diminishing his product by essentially creating fast food expectation. NO ONE has an issue waiting 10 minutes for good food in a sit down or even over the counter restaurant. But they do if they are sitting in a drive thus EXPECTING the transaction to be quick. That's why anyone goes to a FAST food place.
That one interaction may be enough to turn off a potential returning customer due to unnecessarily misplaced expectations. Next time if he is looking for a quick meal he won't go there because it isn't quick. Conversely, if he is looking for a "better" meal so to speak, he won't go their because he perceives it as a "fast food" restaurant which generally = lower quality.
The food is good. All I'm saying is that they could potentially do even better if they were better aligned in the market

I actually went today for the first time.
I got the Brunch Burger and MrsAntique got the Greek Chicken Wrap.
The burger was good, not great. I found it a little under seasoned, especially the patty. The bacon (thick cut) was perfect, and the sunny side up egg was spot on. The sandwich just needed more seasoning, even though it had bacon on it.
My wife said the wrap was really good, as well as the side corn on the cob.
It was a little pricey, $27 for two lunches. The wrap was $7, the burger was $10, but after making them meals, it added another $10.
Their waffle fries are much better than CFA fries.

The wings are good, too. And prices are reasonable. They sell beer, too. All in all, a winner.
