To seriously answer your question though, I think Nagoya is pretty good for a quick lunch and I also will admit to stopping in at El Magey Mexican Buffet from time to time.

If you suffer from constipation, Great Wall is an excellent choice.

India's for lunch is pretty good, except that it doesn't meet your criteria unless you consider Indian food "soul" food.

Does Indian food count? Bay Leaf would be on top for that.

L'Auberge isnt bad and they have tri-tip.

Chinese would probably be Hunan. (They are also probably the only chinese buffet not hit 200+ times by inspectors as well) Off menu is much better though same for Bay Leaf.

Im not aware of a soul food buffet.
