From their recent newsletter:
No mention of Old Charter's status

The annual fall release of the Antique Collection whiskeys should have begun arriving in stores in limited quantities in late September or early October, including George T. Stagg, William Larue Weller, Thomas H. Handy, Sazerac Rye 18yr, and Eagle Rare 17yr.
This year’s release of George T. Stagg weighs in at a hefty 144.1 proof. This batch contained 142 barrels, but not as many bottles as expected, due to some very greedy angels! Finding a bottle this fall will be difficult due to the low yield.
William Larue Weller, the Antique Collection’s uncut, unfiltered, wheated recipe bourbon registers in at 135.4 proof – one of the stronger Weller releases.
Thomas H. Handy Sazerac Rye, the uncut and unfiltered straight rye whiskey weighs in at 126.2 proof.
Eagle Rare 17 Year Old, a 90 proof bourbon, was aged for seventeen years and tastes of leather, vanilla, tobacco and toffee.
Sazerac Rye 18 Year Old was put into the barrel in April of 1998. This 2016 straight rye whiskey release has notable flavors of smoke, clove and all-spice with a dry finish.
Also this fall, in late October, the Van Winkle bourbons will again be released in limited quantities.

Having recently moved to KY I am considering lining up for the Weller and stagg. I've heard they're coming this weekend

Right, but many times 8 can't be found. There have been discussions here about it.
Posted on 10/5/16 at 10:03 am to AlxTgr
Has the 8 gone to limited production?
Posted on 10/5/16 at 10:09 am to wickowick
The direct email I got went something like "We have such high demand we are using our shite for the higher priced stuff that makes us more money".

quote:Yep. And the 8 isn't 8 years anymore. It's 8 "seasons".

Since giving up sodas other than LaCroix, I am now more interested in the higher priced stuff.
