It was a very poorly/oddly conceived place.

Not surprised about Bruno's. Hopefully, this isn't an imposter reopening it at this time.

I didn't mind the Las Cruces location and setting
The food was just not good, though

Had to be the worst location I can think of.

I thought their food was excellent. Put that restaurant on Veterans, and they would have killed it. If Arby's can make it there, Las Cruces would have thrived.

The location was atrocious.

The way the whole place was set up was just goofy as hell, with really sort of oddball service to boot.

The food was meh, at best, I thought. I only went there once, though.

Location sucked. Food was meh. The worst was the service though. Always plenty of staff but took forever and a year to get drink order filled and food to table

Known him since our EJ days. He’s good people and works his arse off. I have no doubt he’ll succeed.

I'm an EJ guy myself. 5 or 6 years before you, I'd guess.

Arby's has to be the worst fast food on the planet.

Yeah, but their signature roast beef is deli meat and their cheese is something even less than Cheez Wiz.

That's a crazy take. Their gyros are better than 90% of the Greek/Lebanese/"Mediterranean" restaurants in the city. Their Market Fresh sandwiches are not only delicious, but healthy (if kind of pricey). I can see how someone might not like their roast beef, but I personally (and millions of Americans) love it.

Have you been to a Rally's/Checkers or Burger King or a Cane's (yes, F those cardboard tasting chicken fingers)?

ETA: You also thought Las Cruces's food was excellent and are excited that Walmart is selling Papa John's leftover radioactive material from Chernobyl "Garlic Flavored Sauce" by the bottle so we can take that into consideration.

I am not advocating for them; I am just saying they have the meats.

I will take a guess and say you are talking about EO? Unless one of the other owners also went to EJ. Lol.

Him and Greg and the others will hopefully do well.

I think EO and I have known each other since we were 9-10 years old from Airline Park playground (before it became Miley for you youngsters).
