You also thought Las Cruces's food was excellent and are excited that Walmart is selling Papa John's
I ate at Las Cruces once and got take out another time. Both times it was excellent. Sorry that this upsets you.

And I'm not "excited" for PJ's dipping sauce (I generally don't use any), but my wife likes it when we order PJ's (instead of me making pizza myself). That's the only reason I know Walmart has it.

I didn't mind the Las Cruces location and setting The food was just not good, though

It was no better or worse than any other generic Tex mex in town. I liked it because it was great for kids and the servers were always amazing , in my experience, handling parties of a dozen or more.

The physical location was terrible and I can’t imagine a brewery will do any better there.

Las Cruces was awful and I tried it probably 10 times. Bad atmosphere and food and the worst service. I say the same thing about Crescent City BBQ
