Was with him that night. Talked to him Saturday afternoon. He moved to Natchez about 6 months ago. Going up to see him over President's day weekend. Has not changed a bit. Was not a Beggar, but knew most of those guys..The Z brothers, Dan O. Again, those were great times.

I have been going to Bruno’s since 1975 and still go there from time to time. I used to like the old place better. The atmosphere went downhill when they moved to the place across the street.

The old joint had so much character. Spent many a Sunday closing it out and then heading to Snake's or the Basin in Lakeview pre-Katrina.

Back in the mid to late '70s used to go every Thursday night to Bruno's and to Buffalo's, next door to Bruno's. It was like a street party every Thursday night.
