Passing through Friday around 11am...little too early to stop at Poche's in Breaux Bridge, hoping for a good recommendation for similar spot
Nothing fancy, eat and dash on way to Houston
TIA

All places listed would be great options.
Haven't heard a good thing about french press in years mainly due to the service and not the food.

Their service seems to have gone down- food is still legit. There’s definitely a pretentious vibe there
The owner/ management also had some anti Trump social media postings a couple of years ago that alienated a lot of potential customers . That didn’t help them to publicly pick political sides

The thing that bothered me was, at a minimum they went from homemade biscuits to frozen biscuits. If you’re cutting corners there, where else are you cutting corners? The quality just didn’t seem the same as it had been in the past. I’ve never had an issue with their service.

Even when the food was good the service was shite
