Ever heard of Laura’s II, University a couple blocks south of Cameron,,,,,best soul food in Lafayette,,,,,then there’s Hot Food Express on Cameron,,,,Bang Bang Shrimp Fried rice,,,,soooooo good

Their service seems to have gone down- food is still legit. There’s definitely a pretentious vibe there
The owner/ management also had some anti Trump social media postings a couple of years ago that alienated a lot of potential customers . That didn’t help them to publicly pick political sides

The thing that bothered me was, at a minimum they went from homemade biscuits to frozen biscuits. If you’re cutting corners there, where else are you cutting corners? The quality just didn’t seem the same as it had been in the past. I’ve never had an issue with their service.
