We do this as well. Breakfast is good anytime of day and it is something that all the children will eat with no complaints. We don't do it often though because we usually make big blowout breakfasts on Sunday morning when the kids are home.

I do it pretty frequently in the summer when the chickens are laying more eggs than I could possibly eat for breakfast.

Nothing says fresh like a hen in the hen house. Are you curing your own bacon too?

My mom did this all the time when we were growing up. I've made sure my little one knows about breakfast for dinner.

Well I've had scotch in the morning so why the hell would I not have a scrambled egg in the evening?

Love it all though it doesn't happen too often. I fix scrambled egg sandwiches regularly though.

most prob because people dont want to eat the same thing twice in day.

hell yes I eat breakfast for dinner, seems especially nice when its cold or the weather is shitty. Sometimes you just don't have time in the morning to cook up something good so why not do it when you get home? Its easy and is without a doubt the most versatile meal of the day. my favorite is probably scrambled eggs, homemade biscuits, and boudin patties OR fried grit cakes with eggs over easy and toast.

My kids ask for this on average, once a week.

We usually make big breakfasts on weekends, but we still occasionally do breakfast-for-dinner.
When we go on vacations with extended family, we usually cook it a couple of times a week, probably because my husband's family has always been really big on breakfast food. It's easy to do in large quantities and everybody will usually eat it. We all just grab something quick in the mornings if we're trying to get somewhere, so it's no like we duplicate a meal twice in one day.
