What beers do you recommend to this person?

Let me also say that this person does not care for ipas

Need beers, t00f, not breweries

Not too in touch with BR craft scene like others that post here, but I'd imagine the Tin Roof Bayou Bengal lager would be a good start. Not sure if any 225 area breweries make a Messican lager.

Paradice Park by Urban South would be a good transition from a XX

Juicifer by Gnarley Barley
Ghost in the Machine-Parish
Holy Roller - urban south

Urban south has several solid everyday options. Who dat golden ale is one.

I gave you two other suggestions but because you're being a dickhead I hope you don't get any more.

I've heard many friends say they don't like ipas but after they start exploring what craft breweries have to offer they always end up drinking ipas.

Bayou Teche’s Cinco de Bayou is a really solid Mexican lager. Once the quarantine is over, they also have the best brewery atmosphere in South Louisiana.

eh. Their beer is beyond average. Their brewery does have the best atmosphere in south Louisiana. I agree

I was just going to post this Ryno. We have the ESP.

Craft wheat beers like Canebrake are a good gateway from BMC to craft beers. A craft pilsner would also be a good transition.

Then Bayou Teche Brewery is your place. A little cajun french vibe and a pizza oven also. Just wish the beer matched the atmosphere. Once I get a buzz the beer goes down perfect.

I don’t disagree with this for the vast majority of their beers, but Cinco is solid and Techticles is above average.

You be better off grabbing Busch light from a gas station.

Parish is my favorite local brewery, but when I want a local lager, I’m grabbing Great Raft Southern Drawl or Reasonably Corrupt.
