Are you kidding? Louie's is perfect.

You think so? I'm just not too sure. Don't get me wrong, I love a big cheesie lou and a large mitchell, but compared to other places on the show, Louie's food seems really tame and boring.

Chimes to name a HUGE one.

As a watering hole, but do you think their food is really better than Walkons? Chimes is alright, and it's OK food I guess, but I would put Walkons above Chimes.

Which ones would you say stand out from the crowd and really scream BR more than Walkons where people of BR go to before the game?

The Chimes for sure. Pastime would be another good one, although not so much for the younger crowd.

Chimes screams BR, but I don't think they classify as a diner, drive-in, or dive.

And Chelsea's was the one I couldn't think of the name. That'd be a decent one.

Not really important to the shows theme. Often it is finding unexpected cuisine. Like small ethnic joints. Maybe La Reyna or a Vietnamese place?

Very underrated as a restaurant, I think. I'm not sure it's enough of a dive either, though.

I don't know what you all consider a "nice" restaurant, but Sammy's would qualify for sure. Good food, interesting daily specials, and a rundown look.

A place that could work, and I know I pimp this place too fricking much, could be South of Philly.

I say this becase they did a cheesesteak place in Utah. BR could fall in the category of unlikely places to grab a good cheesesteak.

A lot of people love Walk-On's and think the Chimes is overrated.

I think the Chimes has slipped a bit even, but I'd still take their food over Walk-On's. Although, to be fair I hardly ever eat at Walk-On's and hit up the Chimes a few times per month.

Dangling... It's not as if Chimes or Walkons is really doing anything off the charts here. It's pretty close to the same kind of stuff. Some things are decent at the Chimes and other things are decent at Walkons, but there's not really that big of a gulf between them.

yes, tons of places as the parameters to be on that show are really loose....doesn't even have to be great food at all.

Chelsea's, Zeeland Street Market, Pocorello's, Anthony's, Ronnie's, one of the Vietnamese joints, etc would all qualify.

Nah, I think Chimes at least tries to cook some of their own stuff and has some pretty good special. Alot better than Walk-Ons unless something has changed in the last few years.

Walk-Ons is about as dumbed down as it gets as far as food goes.

I realize The Chimes is just good bar food, but it's the one of the best places for bar food in BR...or at least it's in the discussion. I don't even consider Walk-On's edible. There's only one person in our group of friends that enjoys going to Walk On's, and doesn't mind the food.

chimes burger, pork chop, boudin balls, etc. do it for me.

add in their brunch, and it's a blowout over walk ons.
