I'd think Laffy food is way better, it's just that it's in people's kitchens and not in restaurants. Cajun food doesn't get dressed up too nicely. Like a fat guy in one of those thin tuxedo shirts without an undershirt.

Lafayette food > BR food

The city of BR > The city of Lafayette

but in years to come

The city of Lafayette > The city of BR!

Lafayette food>>>BR food

North Louisiana food...is not even in the same universe as Lafayette or BR.

What makes Lafayette food better? I've lived in both towns. Besides a bunch of fried seafood platters, I don't see Lafayette overtaking Baton Rouge in any area except Boudin.

I've honestly had better food in North Louisiana than Baton Rouge. I haven't spent too much time in either though.

Laffayette is better than North LA and Baton Rouge though.

Same here. Lived in Monroe and Shreveport too.
Monroe better that Shreveport, BR better than all 3.

Nah. Shreveport has some good Tex Mex joints. Probably some of the best in the state. Also, being Texas and all, they also have some decent steakhouses, catfish joints, and bbq there.

Shreveport is the best in North Louisiana.
