I like to eat in the bar at Mansur's, but I like to watch games on the TVs and I enjoy watching them chargrill the oysters I'm about to eat.

This another new gf, Neauxla?

Yep, it's pretty much my first choice if I'm looking for bar and restaurant. It's a nice bar and I like the atmosphere just fine.

The Grape would be good. Tsunami roof top bar, Churchills, The Cove, most of those are solid, not loud places with good selections.

I dont like the awkwardness of it all. Im also tired of finding 'the perfect' restaurant or bar.

You're trying too hard and spending too much money of just dates.

If you've decided on Le Creole, Perkins Rowe and places like The Grape aren't too far away, probably 10 minutes, just take Highland to Perkins.

A place that is classy without being pretentious.

A place where the food isnt overpriced but is still quality.

A place where the atmosphere is relaxing but doesnt put you to sleep.

The place where she has never been and will always remember.

+1

Find a girl who is very happy with going to Chelsea's or something on a first date. Save the other restaurants for a later date.

way too sentimental of a mindset for me bro

most important thing is that you both have fun. that's it.

To me, that is fun.
Finding a great place, sharing it with someone and having such a great experience you both want to go back.

To each his own.

I just see that as something reserved for couples. good first date for me is taking a girl to one of my regular bars or lunch spots and seeing how she acts in a typical setting for me (sans my drunk buddies of course). gives me a good idea if it's someone i could get involved with. then the next date ask her to suggest something to get a feel for her lifestyle.

word. i'm not judging you.
