I've never had a grill before, so this is uncharted territory. I need some recommendations on pretty much everything but the grill.

A cover, a good grill brush, and some good utensils are all you really need.

Did you get one with cast iron grates? If not, I'd upgrade to those.

Those smoker boxes are worthless. Don't waste your money.

Good utensils includes spring loaded tongs. No need for a grill fork.

THIS X1000. My wife bought my grill for a b-day present, she paid for the upgrade. I love it.

OP get cast iron griddle. It's great for stir fry, fajitas, eggs and bacon, and pizza.

For pizza, put the griddle in the middle, heat up the grill to desired temp, cut off middle burner and leave outside burners on. It creates a convection effect. We heat up frozen pizzas like this now.

If you like buying grill accessories, try the gas grill version of the Kettle Pizza kit. It's designed to do super hot, fast pizza cooks: LINK

I'd also invest in thermal gloves....the old school mitts are a PITA. Get the kind w/individual fingers.

I've got the cast iron grates so I'm good on that part. Might get the weber igrill thing for it. Looks pretty useful

Lowes usually has a fair selection of the Weber brand accessories. I like their grill brush. If your grill does not have a hanger for the brush, buy the strongest magnet hook you can find and use that. Very convenient.

Good tongs are a must. I like the OXO Good Grips 12".
