Boudin king cake > regular king cake.

But boudin anything > regular anything.

It is good grilled but I can’t help but think the people who talk about grilling boudin didn’t grow up getting boudin from the corner store or meat market plucked from a rice cooker and wrapped in butcher paper. . I always assume the grilled boudin folks are from Baton Rouge are somewhere else’ where they didn’t grow up eating good boudin.

I say this because I never had or heard of grilled boudin until I brought it to folks outside of La. growing up in southwest La I never heard of such a thing.

I made one last year and used tobacco pepper jelly and bacon crumbles on top.

Does that work?

You have a valid argument with the king cake comment but you could not be more wrong about this.

I agree. I grew up in Lafayette. Grilled or smoked boudin was not a thing.

What temperature and how long do you like to cook it on the pellet grill?

I also prepare boudin in my air fryer. Gives the casing a nice crisp pop when biting into it. Fight me.

It seems to be a lot of the same people who think boudin has to be cooked.

I still don't understand what the big deal is if someone wants to throw some boudin on a grill for a few minutes to make the casing crisp up. I did that all the time with the Ronny's smoked boudin.

But then again you are one who believes Olive Garden employs real chefs and sometimes sends them to Italy for training.

Why do you feel the need to make stuff up. I never said any such thing. I just said the food isn’t frozen and microwaved and is actually cooks to order.
