Bojangles sucks! They are everywhere up here in Virginia and they call themselves "cajun" even though they are based in freaking North Carolina? Now what do they know about cajun in North Carolina? Nothing! Hell you can get better chicken and biscuits at Hardees! Give me Popeyes anyday and their FLAVOR.

You also get Louisiana Hot Sauce or Tabasco(depending on where you are at) at Popeyes and at Bojangles you get another fake item in Texas Pete hot sauce. It is also out of North Carolina and sucks! Taste like vinegar, ketsup, and black pepper.

Hell even North Carolina BBQ sucks!

Cajun my arse! I had one a few months ago and it had NO FLAVOR, but of course you are from North Carolina, so what else should we expect?

They were in Louisiana in the late 70s/early 80s and all closed down while Popeyes grew. I cannot tell you how bad Bojangles is and their pathetic attempt to fool these northerners into thinking it is "cajun" is sad as well.

Popeyes.

All day.

Every day.

Bojangles is on the level with Church's, not Popeyes.

When Popeyes moves in, Bojo's generally moves away.

It has to be authentic cajun - they had Jake Delhomme advertising their food.

and another thing - they proudly advertise that their chicken tenders are "mild".

I agree with everything you said except the BBQ statement. The vinegar based sauces they use are delish!!!

No, just frustrated with horrible food here in Virginia. I am sorry but Texas, Memphis, and KC BBQ is superior to NC BBQ. The seafood here is Captain Ds quality and taste as well! Mexican and Italian is all copycat NY/NJ style with exact same menus and I am sick of it!

Damn give my some DankenTrail or Podnuhs BBQ in the Monroe area!

These northerners cannot handle food with flavor! Oh yeah Popeyes spicy chicken up here is like the mild in Louisiana.
